What is eumama.ro?
Eumama.ro is a forum for round-table talks between very young mums and dads who have just started their role as parents and who confront family problems such as the upbringing of the child or marriage misunderstandings. Actually, each and every one of us has questions about these problems. However, the persons who give advice on the forum eumama.ro are not necessarily specialists in the field, but they themselves had to face similar problems. Therefore, eumama.ro is an interacting place for parents where they can find helpful advice as well as the newest information about cases of happy families and about many other thongs of this kind. Vlad strongly believes that the portal eumama.ro is going to be an important source of joy for parents, of discoveries and new experiences at the same time.
Approach
The working which now I present you is a special one. Catalin Gheorghiu is an old friend who called me and explained to me what business he wants. I don’t make any secrets to say that his site didn’t have any name or a visual identity. That’s why BroHouse decided to offer on his site a strong identity, original, elegant which express a new air.
Naming
Brohouse had to solve two main problems: the name and the logo. Nevertheless, we turned this situation to our advantage: for other clients, the creative process was limited by the name from the very beginning, whereas now, as we were the ones who created the name, we could consequently create easier the imagologic correspondent. Before showing you the propositions we had for the name, I would like us to have a step back to have a close look at the essence of the concept. In the incipient phase, we had to think of the key words, the advantages, the features, that is, those words that are usually part of the vocabulary of each of us when it comes about the concept of the site. Let’s call them for our readers “tag-words”: mother, father, problems, children, questions, answers, interaction, forum, me, you, masculine, feminine, relationship, parents, experiences, information, fast, joy, information, environment, warmth, specialists, ideas, suggestions, advice, practical, business, name, world, public. And the list may go on. However, as it was not the first project for which Vlad Stan was cooperating with Brohouse, we actually got very close to that “fairy tale name”. Still, we shouldn’t fall however into a trap: we really created a name, we didn’t simply find it.
Here there are some of the name suggestions:

We didn’t try to “invent the wheel”, as the central concept was obviously that of the “mother”. As you may notice, we gravitated particularly around this key word. After a long series of notes and sharpened pencils, the name came up: eumama.ro. So, we solved the problem of the central word as well, and more than this, we even personalized it: “Eu” (me) is actually each and every one of us.
The logo
As the brand value resides essentially in each parent’s care of his child and family, there was no need of a thoroughgoing analysis in order to understand that the logo had to be warm and to reflect the above mentioned features. In fact, what we had to create was a graphic element conveying the maternal spirit, the elegance as well as the warmth of a mother. Finally we drew two hands suggesting the image of a mother who keeps the child at her chest, or that of a mother who is very keen to have a united family. On the other hand, we chose pink because it suggests the ambition, the power, the success and the enthusiastic personality of the young parents. The color, the font and especially the imagologic correspondent are in perfect synergy.
